New York State Clean Energy Internship Program Intern Application Form

Are you looking to learn more about clean energy and explore a career in this growing industry? The New York State Clean Energy Internship program will connect qualifying students with opportunities for hands-on experience in companies with green missions that could range from alternative transportation to wind energy.

You may qualify for this program if you are a student attending or having attended a college or university in New York within the last calendar year, a New York State resident attending or having attended a college or university outside of New York State within the last calendar year, and/or an 16-24 year old currently enrolled in a work preparedness training program such as BOCES, technical high schools, AmeriCorps NCC, the Excelsior Conservation AmeriCorps, etc.

You should be sure to have all required information before completing this application, including the required document uploads. You will not be able to save partially completed applications.

You will receive a tracking number and confirmation on your screen to print or save after you have submitted the application. Please save this number.

Priority populations include, but are not limited to, individuals with disabilities, low-income individuals at or below 60% of State median income, unemployed power plant workers, previously incarcerated individuals, and individuals residing in Potential Environmental Justice Areas as defined by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (see https://www.dec.ny.gov/public/911.html ), and residents of disadvantaged communities (see www.nyserda.ny.gov/ny/disadvantaged-communities for a map of New York State’s interim definition of disadvantaged communities).
