This portal supports applications from INDIVIDUALS who are interested in being considered for the five provider roles listed below:

4. Commercial Plans Examiner-Performance
5. Commercial Inspector
Individual applicants can submit proof of qualification to be considered for ONE OR MORE of the five 3rd party support provider roles.
*Companies/ businesses entities that have multiple individuals seeking to be qualified for any of the provider roles are reminded to submit an application per individual.

A Commercial Inspector must have completed 6 hours of NYSERDA Energy Code Training and Support Services for Commercial Buildings and the COMcheckTM Basics by US DOE.

Upload proof of current insurance: A qualified provider must maintain minimum Errors and Omissions insurance for each occurrence in the amount of $1,000,000 and provide a valid certificate of insurance.

Has the Applicant been suspended, debarred or disqualified from any government contracting process?
Has the Applicant been the subject of an investigation, whether open or closed by any government entity for a civil or criminal violation for any business or professional related conduct?
Has the Applicant been charged with a misdemeanor or felony, indicted, granted immunity, convicted of a crime or subject to judgement for any business-related activity; or any crime whether or not business-related, the underlying conduct of which was related to truthfulness?
NYSERDA will not provide any direct funding/compensation for any individual selected by NYSERDA as a third-party support provider.
Any funds or work products associated with any third-party provider role will be determined directly by the relevant permit applicant and be based on established procedures within relevant Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
To the extent that any of the information provided is not true and accurate, NYSERDA reserves its right to remove applicant/participant from RFQL 4698 inclusion, in any and all forms.
